Hi,

I have around 10 years experience with one of the largest enterprise software company and currently hold the position of Solution Architect. I perform most of the jobs outlined 0213 in leading project teams, working on bugets, timelines, estimations, project scoping and working extensively with customers. However I am neither a project manager nor a resource/people manager.

Its probably not that difficult to find a job with a title as "manager" with smaller firms but that will not pay half the salary I can earn in my current position. So to me it does not make any sense to lower my pay package just to get these credentials on my resume to apply for an immigration to Canada. I assume most of us who are working with big corporations in United States would understand that its not easy to get on to a managerial position performing all those tasks to the full extend with over 10 - 15 years of experience.

So can anyone shed some light on how this criteria is evaluated?

Regards,
Nishant

In my opinion, the title is not so important to VO.

If you can show them the manager duties you have, it will be ok.

Wish it usefull to you.
