NOC 0213-Sould the Primary applicant be employed while Applying?

Dear All,

Its a wonderful Forum to get many suggestions and advices on Canada IMMI...

I am planning to apply for Canada PR under NOC 0213( have around 9 yrs of IT experience). Currently I have taken a break from My work almost since a year .. can I apply now? Or should I be employed when I apply.. Pls suggest!!!

Aslo,I have reference letters from all my prev companies. is there any other doc which we need to submit for the PR application along with ref letters ( ex, payslips, Offerletters etc).?Pls advice...

Yes, you are eligible to apply if your work fits into the NOC list:

Federal Skilled Workers with one year of continuous full-time (or equivalent parttime)
paid work experience in the last ten years in one or more of the occupations
listed at the following Web site:

Yes , I can apply under NOC 0213 as I have more than 2 years managerial exp in IT. However,currently in London, I am not employed.My question is, Can I apply now? even though I am not employed at present. Is there any criteria in the guidelines that the Primary applicant should be employed while applying?

yes you can apply even if you are unemployed so long as you have 1 yrs continuous experience within the last 10yrs that fall under the 38 NOC list.
