I had heard that this NOC-0213 is removed from the list!!!!!

Can we still apply under this NOC..? Plss telll.

Hello - I am new and have not started frequent posts yet... I am currently working in US and have applied for Immigration under NOC 213.
I wish to know if its possible to apply and get a job by attending interviews in Canada sitting in US and be able to get a job.. That way, I can land in Canada with confidence and job !! Appreciate if anyone can share the experience or knowledge in this matter..

Hi Kitty,

There are a few examples on this forum who have secured jobs in Canada while in US. You can apply through monster or can contact some recruiting agency over there.

Hi, I have also applied under 0213 NOC. I sent my full docs to CHC delhi in may and on 6th Dec 2010 I got call for interview scheduled on 25 Jan 2011.

I am nervous ofcourse....
It will be really helpful ,If anyone can share exp of an interview...

I have my cousins working in Accenture canada and other good companies.

As per them "Workopolis.com" is good website to find jobs in canada.

its nice thread to follow ! i myself applied under -0213 and working as MIS manager in a bank in Kuwait .... and waiting for passport request , question is i have mature / secure job so for through internet i can find a lot of jobs in .Net platform , i really don't know moving to canada and leaving current job which is highly paid will be a good decision or not....what u guys suggest

Hi, I am working in one of India's leading IT companies. I talked to my HR regarding the transfer after PR, for instance i being employee of ABC india, and ABC canada is a seprate unit I can only go there as ABC India employee for me to part of ABC canada I have to resign from its India division and then join ABC canada depending on demand and opportunity over there. I am presently working in a project and release from this one wud not be possible w/o telling them that either I want trasfer or I will have to resign.

I too have the same in my mind. But I dont want to discuss with the HR before I get my PR. Once I get it I am planning to talk to our HR for Canada transfer within our organization. I am also planning to attend interview for Canada jobs from India. But dont know how much it is going to work out. Any Indian friends in this group who got their canada job from India? Please advice.

Hi,

I too am in 0213 NOC. But for the moment I am not worrying much on the Job front, as i feel first thing to expect is PR and then start working towards preparations and connection, interviews etc.

Somewhere in one of this forum i have read, people were able to get jobs from India, once they have visa. So it may be a possiblity.

Immediate PM role will be tough i feel, if you are getting transferred from your existing company, which will be the best way. Another possiblity will be continue to work at USA and still keep visiting Canada in PR, till we get a good position.
(But I would take seniors advice on this)

Good Sukan.. when you sent your full documentation to New Delhi VO... I sent it on 12-Aug-2010. 3 weeks before I contacted New Delhi VO for the status updates. I got reply stating that the processing time is 8 months and they should be able to provide updates only if it exceeds 8 months. So I am hoping to get some updates in Mar or Apr 2011.

I submitted my document on 19 June 2010 still waiting for Medical one of my collegue who applied in same catagory earlier than me got med in 3 months does anybody having similar situation or got medical pls share your experience

It would be really interesting if members who already moved would be sharing their experience - are they working in field? Are they working as managers or more like senior/mid-level specialists and working they way up again.

That would be really nice experience to read, but unfortunately most of them are busy and don't use forum any more...
