I am 0121 applicant. I applied in 1st week of July. I received my 2nd line update saying that they have started processing my file.

App Sent 16/09 ... app recd cy CIC 24/09 .... DD en cashed 17/12 as per bank ..... NO PER yet

I called CIC and after several times was able to get my UCI

Online status says ..... IN PROCESS

Below on the same page there are some links with explanations
1st for Application for Permanent Residence Outside Canada &
2nd for Application for Permanent Residence - Federal Skilled Worker submitted to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) Sydney, Nova Scotia

Status " IN PROCESS " has a different meaning on both links ... which 1 should be followed ... and how long does it take for PER email after UCI is created

File received by CIC: 10th Dec 2014
As per my bank by bank draft has been encashed but they arent sure.
My job title was - Associate - Settlements Team Manager
I have enclosed letter from my VP mentioning job responsibilities which are inline with the ones outlined in the NOC code description.

Hoping to hear soon from CIC with fingers crossed and lotsa prayers.

Has anyone else in the same timline received their AOR / PER yet ?

Any idea, why is it so slow?
Does that mean I should wait until 6 months to see any movement?

NDVO has no pattern in processing cases...they are behaving like a Desi organization... So do not expect any deadlines from them...they are overloaded with application and are now transferring applications to other VOs like Poland and Srilanka...Just have faith in God...u will sail through!!!

Dear Friend,
it takes around 60 to 90 days to get file number and another 60 to 90 days to get 2nd line update and around 15 to 45 days to get medical letter.

so you need to be patient. When you are in queue than you will get your turn.

Frineds I am july 1st week applicant. I got my medical request recently.

It seems they have started process for all july applicant.

Hi Akshay,
its good to know that you received your PER already. Currently their process is fast but still in my opinion you can expect your MR by end of March only.

Hope for the best if luck favors then it can be mid March but not before that. It takes atleast 60 days.

Yes agree....minimum 60 days from PER to Medical as per current trends....Have faith in God and hang in there!!!

And i am still not receiving my PER (or is there a way i could check for this?)
do u think, its unsuccessful?

If unsuccessful, i will be starting to comply whats needed in express entry...

Call up CIC and ask them y no PER....bro u need to clear out with CIC..so if there is any negative news...u shud go for EE

Congrats for DD encashment.... Don't worry u will hear good news soon...Canada Visa Process will test your patience to the core...u need to be calm and composed to sail thru the waiting period....my app is 8months 7 days old now...still no Decision Made/ Passport Request....can't do anything but wait....so do what others are doing...WAIT PATIENTLY!!!!
