Hi,

I got my number from cic. When I checked my status, i had to select application number cos it was disallowed under UCI. Would appreciate if those who received PER mail could provide format for UCI number.

Many many congratulations to you. Hope our turn to receive PER will come soon. Still my DD is not encashed as well ECAS is not active. Although I have UCI number. After obtaining the UCI number, I used this UCI number to call CIC telephone number several times since yesterday but the message always coming is :-

"We are currently experiencing a high volume of calles ..... "

Don't know why is it like this? Either everyone is just calling them? OR they have put their telephone lines in auto-message mode!! God Knows.

Because still ECAS is not live. I think may be because of DD not encashed.

I called CIC today multiple times and after long waiting a lady attended the call..she asked me the date of receipt of application and then she said that since my application was rec on 31st Dec 2014 and 10 weeks have not passed hence she will not provide me any status I ve to wait till 11th Mar....inspite of requesting her she didn't pay any heed and told me to wait till 11th Mar....not sure for how long CIC will keep us waiting

Thank you for your comments. I believe you will receive your PER very soon. I can see many people calling cic regularly who are understandably nervous but perhaps are calling too early? This can clog up the system for those with more pressing concerns. Unfortunately it appears this is getting worse as we near the end of the fsw2014 December applicants as the new EE system won't be as simple for many applicants (us included), therefore the pressure to get through is increased.
All I can say is that you are still easily in the running for charging and PER. You know that and don't need me to tell you as I can see you advising others most days!! Lol

Thanks for your comments. Yes that is correct I had been advocating that Patience is the most important thing exmined during CIC PR process. That is why i call it PR=>Patience Recognized. I have to patiently wait for the update from CIO and optimistic to hear the good news.

You should expect charging by end of next week. Because too many applications were received in last week of december, that 's why it might take till end of next week to exhaust all applications of last week of december.

I am happy to inform about the passport request i received from NDVO yesterday. My ecas status had turned to Decision Made in the morning and by evening i received the much awaited email from NDVO.
