can anybody help me or advise??
my file was recieved at CIC on 10th december 2014, and i called CIC last thursday 12/12/2014 to check the status for my app, and the lady told me that my file is still waiting, which means that it didn't return back yet, ok ???

Today i realized that i did a stupid mistake, which is i sent a debit card number not a credit card
so i sent them an email and will call CIC again today or tomorrow, bcz today is off, and ask them if they can hold my file untill i send them a new fee form

any suggestions brothers ????

Im not sure they will want to listen to that, Why not fund your debit card and let the transaction happen on it. A lot of applicant uses debit card and not CC

Thanks for all your feedback.. it was very helpful to get answers for so many doubts.

I sent my application on 12 Dec 14 and it was received on 17 Dec 14. I had sent a DD and i checked with the bank on 12 Feb 15 and the DD has not been encashed yet.

your DD will be cashed this week or early next week. There is usually a 10 day period between DD and CC

I am Dec 31st applicant. Have not got my credit card charget yet. Following this thread and others as well for updating news. Hope to be charged soon. Once it is done, will make a post at this thread the same time.
