Hello everyone!
I also join George with his question regarding recent NOC 0113 encashments. Any during past 1-2 weeks?
My docs were delivered to CIC on December, 31. Last possible date
Not sure when my turn could come, but hope for its soonest realization!

Dear all,

It was requested that how I got my UCI before PER email. It is the number shared by many members I.e. +16149444000. Then to press 1111131. It's your luck if you got some ladies operator and she may be check for you the UCI. I tried twice and first time there was a gentleman who refused to provide UCI. After couple of days I tried again and and found one kind lady and she ask about my DOB, last name and application date. After that she told that a file had been created and she needs more information to verify that I am the actual applicant. After the verification she informed me the UCI. One thing is that your fee must be deducted before calling them.

Hi All December Applicants,
Please note the following stats for your information, as per the updates by november applicants on the forum
3rd Nov,2014 Applicant CC charged on 7th Jan 2015
26th Nov,2014 Applicant CC charged on 21st Jan 2015
Days from 3rd Nov till 26th Nov = 23-days of applications
Days from 7th Jan till 21st Jan = 15-days of CIO
So CIO is finishing completeness check at the rate of Appx.1.53-days of applications per working day.
With this rate the appications received on or before 15th December 2014 would have been charged prior to 3rd Feb,2015.
Similarly all the applications received till 31st December, 2014 would have been charged prior to 13th of Feb 2015.

I noticed in your response you mentioned that cc should be charged before you call CIC to get UCI #. Why do you say that? Will they not have a UCI# if your file is not charged?

I am asking because I got my UCI # and ecas shows "In Process" however I am not sure if cc was charged for my application as I have used my consultant's cc.

Hari,

CC needs to be charged before anything else can happen. So for you to get your UCI#, it means that CIC has already charged your consultant CC.

Why I said this because the lady who provide me my UCI no. asked me when the processing fee had been charged or not. Getting positive reply she started to search in the system and informed me that a file had been created and then she gave me the UCI number after several personal verification.

You may wish to write to CIC for a response. The charging for this NOC is around mid Nov. If rejected, you would be informed by now. Just note that CIC will take abt 45 days to reply u.

You are right. I have gone through all the relevant details in this regard of issuing UCI number. And I am hundred percent confident that UCI number is issued for all those applicants whose bar code page of generic application form is scanned by the bar code scanner of the CIO. It means even if your application is incomplete and your bar code page of generic application form has already been scanned, you are for sure going to receive the UCI number. This is evident from the fact that some of the forum members got their files returned because of missing certificates, or missing some documents and they have found that in the rejection letter their UCI number was mentioned. Of course none of them got their CC charged but despite of it got the UCI number.

Therefore UCI number has nothing to do with charging of your CC. Or other way around, charging of your CC is not a pre-requisite at CIO for issuing of UCI. And I am hundred percent confident about this information, because one of my own friend has his application returned in October, 2014 and he has UCI and his CC was not charged.

Similarly, UCI number issuance does not provide any surety that you will get PER or NER. But when you see in your online ECAS status "In Process" then you should be more then 99% sure that you will get PER. Because "In Process" means they have assured that you have more then 67-points or above.
