Guys,

I need your advice. I am residing in Qatar and applied under 0111 with application received date on 30th May by Mr. Doug. London is my visa office. I have not received any news from CIC. Now, my query;

1) DD has the 6 months expiry of November 25th 2014. what may happen if this is not encashed in between?
2) Can I treat my application as declined/rejected?
3) Is there any way, I can send a query to them in mail or telephone?

Hi,

As per the estimates your DD should have been encashed by now or in case of rejection, you should have got your packet back from CIC. Basis the estimates going on this forum, your information about PER should arrive towards end of October or first week of November.

If you are a bit nervous, kindly send the details of your DD to the bank where you got this made from and they can confirm the status of the DD. I think 99% it should have been encashed by now.

I am still baffled by the fact that CIC is not noting more than 0 under 1113 on the cap update page even though at least one person in the spreadsheet has received PER. That one is just a mystery to me. Is it an oversight? OR is the entry on the spreadsheet wrong? Hmmm

I applied under NOC 1111 (Financial Auditors & Accountants) last May 29, 2014. Due to busy schedule as an Accountant, I hired a consultant. Obviously I know that nothing beats "DIY" work on your own application and after reading the posts from the forums.

However, until now my DD has not been charged yet as of September 15, 2014. By the way, my bank is very helpful in updating me if my DD has been charged. Hopefully by next week they will have a result on my DD as of September 30 or later date.

Also, I already emailed CIC several times and the reply may take at least another 30 days. I even tried the CAIPS immigration File check but I will get the results by November.

What makes me skeptical on my consultant is that I was informed that all of their submitted FSW applications have no UCI yet. Obviously, when I checked this forum, there's a trending of PERs.

Question: I want to do DIY on my application, I'm planning to re-submit before December 31 (it's another shot to take but better try), how can I get a duplicate copy of my TRF (IELTS)? They don't issue another one unless you apply to the likes of CIC, but what documentary proof should I present to them? I also read a posts that an attested copy will do and just tell CIC that I already sent the original IELTS earler? Is it ok to re-submit while waiting for the first one?

provide a copy of receipt of courier company to ILETS agency, if you have.

I fall under 1111 category- as a Example Title of "Income Tax Expert".

I am performing all the duties mentioned, but I am not sure of the education required for this, I have done B.Com and MBA Finance with 5+ year experience and 3+ yr of relevant experience.

Could you please suggest, what are the professional qualifications required to qualify as "Income Tax Expert".

Dont worry MBA Finance suffice for category, only the reference letters mentioning your job duties should match with the requirements for Income tax expert, if that does you are on right track.....
