no work under PGWP ,but spouse HAS a job under open work permit--CEC

Hello,

I was wondering if after studying in canada for a year ,but without any work experiences under PGWP you can still apply under CEC ,if your spouse has work experiences based on open work permit , which was gained because of my studies in canada. My spouse was accompanying me and was issued open work permit.She has 1 year of work experience with open work permit.
Can you still apply under CEC?

She can apply under CEC after she has 12 months work experience.She will be the primary applicant and you can be the dependent.
But make sure you satisfy other criteria for CEC, but she can surely apply.
