I have govermental sponsorship for phd fully-funded/ bank statements/ home and car / msc from uk/ police clearance/ upfront medical...etc.

I have my funds so they are not the only country in the world.
I agree with, BUT it will be more than 6 months believe me they are elementary employees
My colleagues got uk and other visa in a month and they are renewing they due two lockdown.

I hope they give me their decision soon to plan my next step
I would suggest you to order GCMS notes and take a look at that. Based on another applicant, the decision for refusal was made couple weeks ago but hasn't been rolled out yet. You could take a look at it and see if Eligibility has been started or completed / passed instead of refused.

I have permanent job in the university in my country and my university will sponsor me. I wish my application went through regular process so it will be fine like any other candidates.

Believe me they unprofessional in mid of July they said my application will back to Erbil in two weeks or less after two weeks I contacted them they said it's under processing.

UK has better systems if you deal with them..
I will wait until 1 September then withdraw
Withdrawing application will take much longer time. Just leave it there.

Again .. could be a lot of logistical reasons. It could be any where in Iraq to Visa office in Beirut or where ever Iraq applications are handled? It could be buried in a mailroom full of other applications coming for visas in the last 6 months. Withdrawing an online application is much easier. Nothing has to be sent back and they just close the case. While paper based application has to be returned back, now depending on the availability or sevice AND pandemic, it's going to be a lot of hassle to put forward the whole withdraw process. From your end, it's just a request, but for the IRCC, it's ton of stuff which they aren't going to prioritize anyway. You are better off keeping your app in process instead of withdrawing.

Hi everyone! I applied for my study permit in February. I still have not gotten word back on it, my document is complete and all my files have been submitted. Has anyone else been going through the same problem? If it makes any difference I am a high school student applying to a college in Montreal form Pakistan. My application was online and my online classes start on the 20th.
Hello Hamza, I'm a Pakistani high school student too. I applied in June. Have you heard back from IRCC yet?
