No Word after Buffalo Transfer

I think my file was pretty close to the end of processing when the Buffalo office closed. No interview was necessary and they asked my sponsor to pay an additional $150.00 for something they didn't identify. He paid it. That was in March and I haven't heard anything since. Medicals expire in August. SHouldn't I have heard at least where my file is?

Same with our file. We were at the very end too. Buffalo cancelled our June 12 interview(confirmed back in March 2012) at end of May, 2012 by email and letter telling us to wait to be contacted by new office. Nothing till today. We filed early June 2011. So frustrating!
Did you try to call or email them yet? We called CIC Mississauga 2 weeks ago. She said to give them till end of this month and then email Ottawa.

Thanks for replying. I just emailed today. The frustrating part is that I have read on this forum that people who have applied from US in Nov/Dec of 2011 are already landing. And we didn't even need an interview. I'm so sorry for your wait. Living limbo is so difficult, especially when there is no telling when it will change. Good luck to you. Hope it's soon.

1-888-242‑2100 is the number we used. You have to press quite a few buttons to get to a person. Best time to call is around 8:00am your local time. Good luck!

Our papers are still in process...we took our medical on october 2011 but because of the transfer, we still didnt know where our papers are and its status says that it is still processing..
