Hi everybody!

Sorry for such a trivial question but my company really does not have a website. Is this a big deal? In the checklist they say there has to be a company website on the letter, mine doesn't have that.

Please tell me it is not a big deal. If it is should I attach a letter of explanation?

I also have only about 50 percent of my paystubs, i know they are optional, but is it a good idea to attach just some of them? They all show 19 per hour and everything is basically the same but I just don't have all of them... Should have been more careful when collecting them

Thank you!!!

Usually VO google name of your company, if he wont be able to find enough information, He is going to request you for more information about relation between your company and you.
I just read a thread few days ago in which VO requested more information.

Could you possibly give me the link to that thread? You cannot find my company if Google it. Due to the nature of the company (broadcasting of online gaming) my company chose not to be on the internet. It is perfectly legal and registered and we get audited and everything is OK it is just you cannot Google us. Impossible. Any possible problems with that?

Can't you get an explanation letter from your company stating that your employer has no website, the reasons, and they are still willing to answer any questions they might have regarding your employment?. I guess that should be sufficient. Regarding your paystuds, I wouldn't. If you can send all of them, that might be good. I wouldn't send just some of them. It is optional anyway.

I guess that is possible. So basically in general if there is ANYthing that is missing and it is not so crucial you attach a letter of explanation to everything that might alarm the VO? Cuz I cannot imagine there is 1 single person who has a complete and flawless application without any, even small ones, trivia...

I get questioned about my company by EVERYONE, even the lawyer I consulted today and everybody gets suspicious right away until I show them my paystubs, T4s and they see that I am actually employed and get decent $.

I feel like my trip to PR will be so difficult due to all of those explanations to those who raise their brows... Hopefully I get an understanding VO...

What you possibly could do... Since your employer doesn't have a website ... You can try to provide suffucient proofs of legitimacy of your employer's business
If u had earlier applied for LMO you would have provided employers business licence number and other relevant details.. You can provide an explainataion letter stating that employer doesn't have a website but it is a legitimate company and attached are proofs of business

I have never applied for LMO I am here with my husband who is an Intl student and I hold an open WP. I didn't even know I could apply until I consulted the lawyer and called CIC to confirm. Turns our one can apply holding a spousal WP.

Yes that is a good idea though... I am just wondering if my boss will give me all those details without questioning me... It's my problem though, I will have to face the music and talk to them and explain. I just hope they don't get angry with me...

ukulele, Don't get hesitate and discouraged to ask your company to help you out. I assume that you are a good employer who works hard. You deserve to get any help from your company. You can show them the check lilst and ask them to give you any info that proves your company is a legitimate business/company.

Thank you for your advice. I will do my best to do all I can to get all I need from them.
I only have a draft of my reference letter that me and my boss agreed to sign when it is complete. What I have not mentioned to her is how IMPORTANT this single document is, because you do not wanna look\sound desperate in front of my boss. She is a very busy business woman who owns several broadcasting companies with her brother and when I come to her with my fresh letter for her to review and sign, it is not beneficial for me to start explaining what CEC is etc. She doesn't care about that, neither does she have to know she is signing my possible PR. I know some employers are very supportive and helpful, mine just doesn't have any interest in knowing what it is and why.
So that was my intent. I told her it had to do with immigration and one of the documents was a very detailed reference letter. She said OK. If they call her I do not have anything to hide, I am not lying in my application she will confirm everything but for now it just seems to be so difficult when little problems like this website problems arise... But I will be strong and summon up my courage and explain it to her I guess, there is no other choice...

Why would they be angry with you.. I work for a Company who had never hired any foreign worker before and has been in business since 40 years.. When I approached them for lmo application.. I was a bit hesitant too.. They were not prepared to provide me with the financial documents of the company initially but I directed them to the cic website and they confirmed it and easily gave me all the documents
You don't worry and just ask for it positively
U should be ok
Good luck
