No way Out?

Please advise me as I am also in a similar situation.
I have been requested passport at CHC Detroit and I am in India with my wife. Even if I manage to get my passport shipped through friends or relatives and get them back in India, do custom and immigration people really stop you when you go out as the visa are stamped in your absernce and it was illegal to send passports out. please, help.

i dont knw i,m in uk and wife in india..after i,ll get the passports stamped i,ll try to land myself first and then come back to india and then will take my wife..by this atleast i could land in canada and get the PR.our passport say u can give somebody ur passport to keep inhis custody..i dont knw wt does tht mean..does it mean he can take with him and travel..i have no idea..for me there was no option so somebody is getting the my wife passport and thn i wod submit. did u get ur passports back?did u gave authorisation letter to your frieind who took the passport mentioning that he can take the passports to detroit?yes my solictor one of his client was in a similar situation as mine in USA and passport were sent frm india..he did not had any probs at the airport..and landed safely in canada..i have no idea..only passport office can tell..my reginal passport office in india...one guy sitting there says post it...y dont u post it..and then he said visas are issued in new delhi not in london..they even dont know...GOD KNOWS..
