No updates post 196 days after AOR

Hi

I have received my AOR on Nov 26 2018,medicals passed on Jan 3 2019. After then,there has been no update in my application.Its been 196 days and its really depressing. My IELTS would expire next month and if there is no update, I would have to rewrite it again to apply!

I have contacted CIC via mail, but they just told me to wait and got an automated message saying that your application is in progress.

What should I do ?

I don't think they would ask you to reapply should your IELTS results expire, since you have already got invited and submitted all the documents.
If you don't get PPR before IELTS expires, they might ask you to retake the test and submit a new test report as ADR.

What if I dont get the same score after retaking IELTS ? Wouldnt that makes my application annulled ?

Not sure. Better call IRCC and find out or wait for notice from them.
Each case is different. Good luck.

They will never ask for retaking IELTS
Only medicals are retaken in case of expiry

Hi all
I had done my medical from hospital and submitted to cic on 14 nov 2018, my medical passed on 5 june 2019. So when does my medical expires? Is it one year after doing medical from hospital (nov)or mep (june)? Pls advise. Thanks
