No updates on request for info

June 2022 applicant here from BC. My application is at the Sydney Nova Scotia IRCC office

I phoned the office Dec 30 with the hope of finding out whether they actually received my two emails with additional information they requested Nov 28. Its been over a month since I sent the info and the tracker says the same "waiting on you". Everything is in process except test and oath (not started).
The lady was very nice, but I don't feel very reassured. She checked and said they havent received any information from me. She asked if i got an email acknowledging the emails I sent. I didnt for either email and asked her if i should send again. She said no and noted the email is probably in line to be checked and could take a few months for them to actually see/read it. I mentioned the email noted requested making sure the info is sent within 60 days or the application is pulled. She said if i have copies that I did send the info it wont be pulled. All I can think of is more delays if that happens.
Her suggestion was to call back in a couple of weeks if nothing changes on my tracker.

Has anyone experienced this? Got an email from IRCC acknowledging they gor your email? Had their application pulled?
It would be nice if there was an automated reply when emails are are sent.

I'm also interested to know as I was asked to provide extra documents for my minors' applications..they were requested by email on Dec 20 and we sent them Dec 22 ( so this is all still very recent).. similarly no acknowledgment received... Thier trackers still show "waiting on you" so at least I would expect nothing to change for a while...

Its certainly creating some stress.

@Mistymac I mailed the requested documents registered post just before the new year's break and the children's tracker now shows that ircc have received them..
I was thinking of sending my old passport (the info they requested) via mail. Just seems completely ridiculous to have sent the info online 2 x and the tracker still says the same. Ill contact them again Monday and if I get the same answer ill just send by registered post.

Glad you got some movement

I phoned this past Monday. Again same response. They do not see any email from me (not sure if they are checking notes or scanning for my email). Asked what i sent. I told her just the biometrics page because they didnt specify in the email and there is no stamp from the trip I took.
So I specifically asked for an address to send my old passport by registered mail instead. She advised me not to do this because if my emails are in the cue to be read any info they receive on my file can cause further delay (as they take time to look through what is sent).
She told me to basically sit tight and wait. They will email me if they got nothing or require additional information or I could phone back after the 60 days if there has been no update.
