No update on application August AOR

Hi All,
I submitted my application and got an AOR on Aug 22 2015. Since then, it is still in
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
A final decision has been reached Not Started

I did have an FBI PCC pending, which I explained in my cover letter and yesterday updated with a Case specific enquiry.
Is this normal? I see for so many others they get some updates about medicals, background check within days even if they have FBI PCC pending. I am an outland applicant, with no prior visits/connection to Canada.

It's ok. Relax and wait. There is nothing you can do about it.


P.S. I'm a march applicant and I'm still waiting for my first update

It's perfectly alright.
If you are impatient, try ordering GCMS notes for your application but it takes 30 days from the date you order.
