Hi,
My oath is scheduled on 8th Sep. Just checking if any of you has applied to passport? It seems we need to have travel prove to apply passport? My company’s travel agent needs the new passport number to issue the flight ticket. Thanks,

I just wrote "passed my test and DM on Jan 30th and it’s been over 7 months and haven’t heard on the oath invitation yet. Please let me know. My application was over 14 months".
Thanks. Actually my case is a bit different .

I could not attend my first oath date in Jan 2020 . I gave them an explanation why I missed(by webform) in Jan itself. They wrote back asking for proof
which I could not provide. I called IRCC , they said I am entitled to one final oath date, I just have to wait.
Waiting for 7 months now.

I don't know what to do.

Ah you'll have to wait then. Nothing else can be done.

Maybe order ATIP notes to see the latest updates/comments of the officer or a possible due date?

thanks. What are ATIP notes? How long does it take to get them and how to apply?

- Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) are case notes available to anyone in Canada under the Right to Information Act;
- It takes 30 days from the day you send a request. But I got mine in two weeks' time;
- You can submit your request here: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

Thanks. I submitted it online.
Maybe it will give me some info, better than a never-ending wait.

What happens if somebody misses the final oath date as well?

Also noteworthy;
If you miss your first oath ceremony and they accept your reason given to them within 30 days;
they will schedule you for another first oath ceremony and not a FINAL one as in my case.
