no tracking number for shipped passports

Hi all,

I sent my passports to CPC Ottawa on Oct 15 for PPR, they were received with signature. Got an update on my account on Nov 3rd showing "approved" and I see both my spouse and my expiration date of the residency as well as residency counterfoil number etc...

When I shipped the docs, I forgot to take note of the "return label" tracking number and Fedex is unable to locate it for me (used online account and it does not show there either), do you guys know how long after the approvals do passports get sent out? I am concerned it has been 4+ business days and we have not received the passports back nor we know where they are. Because I don't have the tracking number, i am unable to track my docs.

ask them if they dispatched your passport yet.

For me it took a week before they shipped the passport. As suggested above you can contact Ottawa to find out

I will send an email asking them. Do you happen to know approximately how long after the approval do passports get dispatched? I just want to see if this is unusual or did people go through a similar situation?

It varies.

Some get dispatched they same day, some take a while.

I know one guy whole application was approved on Nov 3 and was dispatched last night.

was finally able to locate the tracking number after help from Fedex tech support, my tracking number shows the shipment was dispatched today, ETA Nov 13th.

I got my visa yesterday but it juz shows my passport is dispatched but i dint received any message of tracking id !!what to do now??
