Hi,

First let me explain the situation. I and my husband arrived in Canada in November 2011. I am expecting a child and so decided to invite my mom to Canada under a supervisa.

My mom applied for a super visa under the invitation and sponsorship of me and my husband. She has now received a medical request and request for our tax documents. Since we arrived in November 2011, we did not have any job in Canada in the year 2011, and hence, we do not have any tax documets or T4 or T1 slips. Our Notice of Assessment for the year 2011 shows no income. And it is not yet time to file tax for the year 2012 and hence again no tax documents.

We have already sent a copy of our latest pay stubs as proof of employment and income as mentioned in the Document Checklist.

Please help!!

Thanks

Hi,

Can please confirm: when you say invitation and sponsorship; can a couple show their joint income to qualify for low income cut off or it has to be only one's.

Thanks,

AiR :)
