Guys,

I have just applied online for visitor visa. but my passport doesn’t have any surname. I have only Given Names on my passport which my first name & last name but no surname.

To match my name on TRV forms & my passport, I have written my fullname under Given Names column, same as my passport. To validate forms, I have typed NA(not applicable)in the surname column.

is this ok?

Technically, they will generally use your name as the last name. In the given name section, you can use FNU (first name unknown). Alternately, you can leave it as is and use LNU (last name unknown), but they seem to prefer the first option. My wife had the same issues.

Thanks for your response. As I have already submitted my application by filling NA (Not Applicable) in the surname column. So i hope they won’t consider writing Not Applicable as a mistake under surname column. I don’t mind they use my full as last name or whatever as long as it doesn’t effect my visa decision.
