May be not completely related to this discussion but you guys would know, parents/grand parents get the super visa as a letter or visa stamp ? when my parents already have a TRV for next 10 years and i am applying for super visa above that.
Super visas for applicants from non-exempt countries is a visa counterfoil pasted in the passport. It is not a letter.

You may want to search for a thread started by member se7en whose mom had a similar TRV/super visa situation like you do

I called 905-612-5416 which is the Canada Border Services Agency phone number for terminal 3 of pearson airport. They said they don't stamp passports anymore. If the visa is a supervisa then my dad can stay for 2 years since his initial entry in January 2018. If he goes on vacation to USA, his visa is still valid for 2 years since his initial entry in January 2018.
I got this phone number from https://www.torontopearson.com/en/contactus/
Hopefully, this helps people with the same problem.

Hi , can you please let me know whether its same for Visiting visa too? My mother came to Canada with visiting visa and there is no stamp too.

Hi,

My parents came in may 2017 may and officer put the stamp and date may 2019
But they left in may 2018

Now they came back in november 2018 and officer just put the stamp, did not write any date this time.

Are they eligible for staying until nov 2020 for 2 years as there is no date or is that visa is only until may 2019 as per previous entry back in 2017 ?

Their previous status lapsed when they left the country. They can stay for up to two years from November 2018 on this entry

Hi Bryanna, so, for a multiple entry super visa, can parents stay for 2 years for each entry as long as there is no dated stamp during arrival? I am looking forward to process my mom's super visa and she already has a multiple entry visit visa for now! If I apply for her super visa online, can my mom still visit me while her super visa application is under process? please advise!
