no spouse name on passport

Hi all,

I have a concern. I do not have my husband's name on my passport. Whereas he has my name on his passport under spouse name.

So, will it be a problem anywhere in EE process as I am the principal applicant.

naah dont think so... hardly any country mentions spouse details on passport anyways... india is an obvious exception...
go ahead and create your EE profile - good luck.

If you are the primary applicant I would recommend you get a new passport made with your spouse name on it and then you create the EE profile. This will not create any confusions later on. But in case you dont want to get a passport made then still you can go ahead with current passport provided u have marriage certificate

Not needed. As long as the marriage certificate is provided along with the application, spouse's name not being on the passport doesn't matter

Hi Upinder - I too have a similar issue and even the Tatkal services aren't providing any nearby dates, please let me know , how did you proceed on your case
