No Response from CVA Center

Hello Community,

I am an Indian national currently in Germany on a researcher visa for the purpose of completing a PhD.

I want to visit my friend in Canada, for which I will need a visitor visa.

I have now initiated the visa process, which led to the IRCC sending me a BIL letter.

I followed links given in the BIL to the vfsglobal-website.

There I have filled the online form for an appointment at Canada Visa Application Center-Berlin to collect biometrics in the but never received any confirmation from them.

Is this normal? Do I have an appointment now?

This issue has been resolved. I just made another request to the Düsseldorf center instead of the Berlin center. They immediately sent me a confirmation email. My best guess is that not getting anything from them means that your appointment was not approved.
