Hello all,
Seniors, pls help.

APR 2011 - Applied under CEC and left Canada a month later.
OCT 2011 - Medicals done
DEC 2011 - FBI cert. requested
MAR 2012 - Buffalo recieves FBI cert.
MAY 2012 - Buffalo asks via email "send your FBI record" -I immediately responded..."Already sent to Buffalo" and included Fedex proof of delivery.
...no response yet.

Could Buffalo office have lost my FBI record? It´s been 14 months since we applied.

I read Buffalo office will be closing...will they keep all applications there until they come to a final decision? or will they send them to different offices? (in or outside Canada). Will they notify us about it and when?

What could take so long? as I read here many folks aplyed after I did and already have PRs.

Any information is welcome.
Thank you all!

They plan to transfer files to other visa offices, including CPP-Ottawa. Usually you know where your file is when you receive instructions from a particular office or by either making a case specific inquiry. Keep checking ecas for updates and you can also request your caips/GCMS notes.
