No reply at all from CIC..!!

Hey everyone..!!

I had applied for PR on 26th August 2014. since then I've got only one single letter from CIC informing that they are deducting the fees from my credit card and hence my file is in their hands to process. and thats it.. its been 7-8 months already since i applied and I am not aware of my file number yet..!! what should I do?? What should I expect from CIC by this time??

Try to login into ecas using ur uic number and other details . If not contact CIC call center and follow up.
Not sure Y u got a letter from CIC , we usually get AOR email

Apply GCMS notes...and I try to contact via call CIC office...to ask your fie number....because if they deduct your money for processing it means they generate your application number and Somehow may be you didn`t get email.

i was in same situation they had wrong email on my file so my file num was delayed ..fill out case specific form and explain them that your correct email address..try login ecas also

Use the link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=

you would need to enter the client ID which is 8 chars in length without any special chars in between. You would be able to find it as UCI in your current work permit.

i applied in dec and my papers reached there on the 30th of Dec 2014.. but unfortunately have not received any reply from cic at all.. what should i anticipate ?? i heard they told some people ( who applied late last year) that they have reached the required number.
what should i do? any ideas?

It is true , the application filed after 20th Oct will be returned.
You can give a try to EE now
