No PR VISA stamping for US passport for my kid but they given COPR From New Delhi Office

My Kid is US Citizen with USA Passport she got Canada PR from New delhi office, but they given COPR From New Delhi Office in the envelop they provided, so please guide mewhat should I do now? I emailed them but no use , they sent a standard email contact this and that but no use at all

Are you asking why the US passport did not get a PRV one-time use visa as a PR? It's because US passports do not require a visa. They just need the COPR.

My daughter also got only COPR, she is a US citizen. When you travel, you will need Visa to enter Canada, but she will be able to use her US passport to enter. At the time of entry, the Canada border service will use her COPR for landing.

What is the error you are seeing? US Citizens dont need a visa for Canada, they will not issue a visa for her.

That's a form letter.

If you have a US Passport, you don't need a visa. I've gotten study permits, a work permit, PR, NEXUS, etc. Never been issued a visa. As a US Citizen, I couldn't get an ETA either, before or after PR.
