Hi Everyone,

I am in conversation with a college in Toronto about a 2 year diploma course. I was informed that after the course I'll not be eligible for post graduate work permit.

Is it possible to score a job and get my work visa as soon as I finish my studies?

The only other alternative is to find an employer who is willing to secure a positive LMIA for you but IMO this is not going to happen and you are better off studying in an institution that gives you a chance to obtain a PGWP.

Change to a school that qualifies for a PGWP.

Or after diploma use pathway program, but before it, check do they provide pgwp after graduation.

Would be best to switch colleges. Employers will be unlikely to apply for an LMIA and the degree will not help you get jobs with employers. Stick to large public colleges or univeristies.

sure, especially if it is just diploma course... if it was master at least the chance will be higher, but it is even not a bachelor...

It is more about the reputation of the school with employers. A diploma from a public college will look much better to employers.

Thank you everyone for all your advises.

I am looking for a college with reasonable international tuition fees providing one year diploma in hospitality management. I am currently unable to apply for loan of more that 12000 dollar. If you guys can advise a college with reasonable fees it would be helpful for me.
