NO points in PR for online Canadian education

IRCC twitter handle yesterday stated that there's going to be no points for Canadian education in CRS score if we do it online due to Covid 19. How is it fair?

Can you provide a link? They've said the opposite before where part of your education can be online to be counted due to covid.

Students are spending the same tuition, most of them are already in Canada, but in reality, they can't use their Canadian Education for the points.
And it is not their fault. They came to study not online but in class...

Hello My dear fellas, I am here to share the good news about this whole ordeal. As per the announcement by IRCC on Sept 8 , 2022. IRCC States . Express entry applicants that have claimed points for CEC and completed part of their program between March1,2020 and August 31 2022 are now eligible for CEC points even if they completed the program entirely through distance learning, part time or from outside Canada

I was creating a CEC profile. Landed into this forum and saw how confused people were. I just thought to update it as it might help people who were in the same boat as me before I landed into this forum.
