Hello guys,

I'm a graduate from MEng Aero at McGill and in an awkward situation... Because of the transfer (not for official credit count) credit required for my program, I was not recognized as a full-time student, making the VO (fedral) to refuse my application to my PGWP, but MIDI seemed to take it into consideration issued a CSQ after a very long waiting time.
I almost gave up on the Quebec program (more than 6 months), and am planning to go to BC grad school for PGWP and direct PR pathway upon graduation.
With this situation and my extended status as an visitor (I'm a Japanese so I won't need a TRV), what would you do? In fact I would rather work outside Quebec but don't want to wait too long for my PR status.

PS: with this coronavirus panic my family pushed me to go back for fear of losing a status without method of returning, but I have already prepared the documents required for lengthy process (police check) and I could submit it very soon.

Any advice would be appreciated.

What do you mean by your "extended status as a visitor"? Did you apply to change your status to visitor after completing your studies?

The pgwp refusal was in October and naturally I lost status the next day. So I restored and extended my visitor status
