NO PCC FROM OTHER COUNTRIES. What to do?

I am sponsoring my husband who lived in Saudi Arabia and Sudan in the past. He lives in the Philippines now.

Unfortunately, we can't get a PCC for the two countries mentioned because (1)Saudi Arabia - he's not there anymore and as per CIC site, it is normal that he won't be able to get a PCC (2)Sudan - the consulate in the Philippines doesn't issue PCC and we don't know anyone in Sudan who can do it for us. What we got is an official letter from the consul stating that they don't issue a PCC.

I am planning to attach a letter of explanation about the situation and include the letter from Sudan consulate.

What should we do? Can this delay or give us a problem in our application?

Do what you have planned. Get proof that you tried to get the police certificate from the two countries, but were unable to do so. Send this proof in with your application with a letter of explanation. It may delay your processing, but if you really can't get them, there is nothing else to do.

just include as much proof as possible.

i cant get my one from china as i have to physically go there to get it. i cant go as id breach my current student visa, so ive included all evidence for my visa and its terms, and also correspondence with consulates and embassys.

im hoping thats enough but best we can do sometimes.

Ill post about it somewhere on the forum when i hear but wont be for a few months
