I am applying for my parents visitor visa using new system. I don't see any option to upload "proof of funds" like older system. The only option I see is passport and marriage certificate.

My parents held Canadian visa before which is now expired.

I had the same issue when i apply. My parents had visit visa before. They qualify for a program called CAN+ I think that's why it doesn't give you an option to upload financial documents. I upload them to "optional documents" just to be safe side.

If one has a valid US visa or past Canada visa they are not asked for proof of funds. As mentioned above you can upload proof of funds in client information section if you like.

Hello wonderful people,
I am planning to apply for visitor visa for my parents.
My father is a framer and my mother is unemployed(housewife).

So My question is in the application they ask "How much money do have for your stay in Canada?"
They have around $5k in their joint account and I have around $13k in my account. And I will be sponsoring their whole trip.

What should I put in the answer?

Thanks,
