No Option C printout - Canadian sponsor residing abroad

Hi there,

I'm sponsoring my Italian husband and we're collecting all the document for the application.

I left Canada when I was only 4 years old and never resumed my residency.
I never worked for a Canadian employer, for this reason I can't provide an Option C printout.

Is there anyone who can give me some advice about the written explanation they ask to provide in the application form?

I would just write that you are a Non-Resident for tax purposes and include the last 12 months of pay stubs from your current job in Italy (I presume you live in Italy?). I could be wrong, but that's what I would do.

Yes I'm currently living in Italy and I'm a Canadian citizen by birth.

We sent a letter as well, while my husband has lived in Canada (age birth-19), he has been out of the country for the last 13 years, and supplied a letter and paystubs for the last year as to why he hadn't requested one.
He was approved for sponsorshiop.
