Hi All,

In the following page the no of applications for CEC says 10000 in this year 2013, so is it a problem if I apply in June?....

cic.gc.ca/english/ department/media/notices/notice-levels2013

, what will happen if the applications are already filled,
Does my application will be sent back or is it will be processed next year?,
on average how many applications will be sent every month under CEC?

and my PGWP will expire in march 2014, please help if there is any workaround..

Thanks in Advance

Historically, CEC didn't succeed filling the previous , lower quotas and it is unlikely that the quote will be filled by June. Theoretically, since the employment requirement was lowered to just 1 year of work experience, it might create influx of new applicants. However, since in 2011 and 2012 less work permits were issued - the overall number of applicants should not be explosive.

Thanks you sashali78, However I started my work from jan 2012 as a contractor till may 31 (NOCB), then I got a permanent Offer and started working from june 6 till present (NOCB)...

Here, i am eligible from jan 2013, howver i would like to show immigration this current job as my eligible experience as per the checklist.. so my previous employer is just in paper and no way related to my immigration and just worried about the application Limit...

Thanks Again

Note that you are only eligible since June 2013 since your work as a contractor does not count. You need to be full time (or part time but then the calculation is different) employee for a minimum period of 12 month

So, in this case you are good to go. Why would you want to wait? Wait a f few weeks spare just in case and go ahead and apply. good luck

sure, the reason for the wait is its a small company with only 3-5 employees and i am not sure if my employer can handle if he gets a call from immigration... so i wanted to wait few weeks as you said and get the T4 and all necessary paper work from him and take a second opinion from a lawyer on all the paper, and then would like to proceed............

P.S. is it an advantage/disadvantage to mention the 3rd Party Clients Name on the reference letter that i worked from jan 2012 - may 2012

Thanks
