I don't know if that's a good sign or bad. I can tell you one thing, don't trust whatever they write in the system (ATIP).Jaroddz said:Hello Ambient,
Pretty much in the same situation, first of all that was no reason to question anything in my application (working in Canada, paying my taxes,...) haven't been out of the country much, except that i have a Green card through my husband but never spent a night in US, but the CO didn't like the idea of me having another residency and the entire interview was only about US (I did disclosed it in my application) and she hand me over the CIT 0520, so it was easy for me to provide all the documents because i'm living in Canada, i requested the ATIP and i find out that they transferred my file to St Clair office and the reason was "Workload re-distribution" and it was indicated that they received all the requested document 2 weeks after my test (BTW my test Passed 20/20), so i order another ATIP (my 3rd one) no change at all the last update was:
Notes:
Created date: 2016/01/11
Office: St. Clair CIC
Text: File Received from CIC Mississauga at St. Clair. To the attention of: J. WxXXXXX- Add Docs Only- for review.
Anyone have any idea of that's a good sign of not?
Thanks,
I'll tell you why. I've been told for moths that the reason for the transfer of my app was "workload redistribution" and it wasn't .
On many occasion Officers didn't update people's test results in the system, CIC call centre agents admit that not every officer checks the "decision made" option in your application (thus you would never know on ECAS that you're application is approved).
In my ATIP Notes (and I have at least dozen of them ) information contradicts each other, for example when MP calls they put note - spoke with MP over the email, If physical letter was sent to them they note - got a call. I requested the amendment of my name, they did it in November (note said that) and later in January another note appeared that the applicant wants to keep his name (which raised the question, did they changed my name twice (back and forth) or it was done only once?)
I think the note of workload re-distribution is complete bullshit as St. Clair office is the one with the biggest backlog, they should redistribute their workload, not to receive new applications from other offices.
On the good note, at least they gave you CIT, in my case I'm waiting for almost 10 months after test ( 17 months after applying), and the reason of the delay is unknown, that makes me paranoid, discriminated and it slowly kills psychologically.
