Hello Ambient,

Pretty much in the same situation, first of all that was no reason to question anything in my application (working in Canada, paying my taxes,...) haven't been out of the country much, except that i have a Green card through my husband but never spent a night in US, but the CO didn't like the idea of me having another residency and the entire interview was only about US (I did disclosed it in my application) and she hand me over the CIT 0520, so it was easy for me to provide all the documents because i'm living in Canada, i requested the ATIP and i find out that they transferred my file to St Clair office and the reason was "Workload re-distribution" and it was indicated that they received all the requested document 2 weeks after my test (BTW my test Passed 20/20), so i order another ATIP (my 3rd one) no change at all the last update was:
Notes:
Created date: 2016/01/11
Office: St. Clair CIC
Text: File Received from CIC Mississauga at St. Clair. To the attention of: J. WxXXXXX- Add Docs Only- for review.

Anyone have any idea of that's a good sign of not?

Thanks,
I don't know if that's a good sign or bad. I can tell you one thing, don't trust whatever they write in the system (ATIP).
I'll tell you why. I've been told for moths that the reason for the transfer of my app was "workload redistribution" and it wasn't .
On many occasion Officers didn't update people's test results in the system, CIC call centre agents admit that not every officer checks the "decision made" option in your application (thus you would never know on ECAS that you're application is approved).
In my ATIP Notes (and I have at least dozen of them ) information contradicts each other, for example when MP calls they put note - spoke with MP over the email, If physical letter was sent to them they note - got a call. I requested the amendment of my name, they did it in November (note said that) and later in January another note appeared that the applicant wants to keep his name (which raised the question, did they changed my name twice (back and forth) or it was done only once?)

I think the note of workload re-distribution is complete bullshit as St. Clair office is the one with the biggest backlog, they should redistribute their workload, not to receive new applications from other offices.

On the good note, at least they gave you CIT, in my case I'm waiting for almost 10 months after test ( 17 months after applying), and the reason of the delay is unknown, that makes me paranoid, discriminated and it slowly kills psychologically.

Kurtz: You are not alone here! My ECAS showed decision made on October 5, 2015; since then there is no invitation for oath. Recently my file was transferred to St. Clair office (from Mississauga). St. Clair office requested fingerprints. I sent them on February 1, and then also nothing is going on. Recently I applied to renew my PR card. Let's see which one comes the first - invitation for oath or the renewed PR card!!

There seems to be something ominous about that St. Clair office...

Thank you ambient, I guess my question now is, which part in the ATIP that shows if the test results was updated or not? I can see under assessments that criminality is the only one that passed, knowledge is in progress the remaining not started, I wrote my test Dec1, 2015 and the atip is from February 2016

Some say it's a social engineering department who turns normal residents to psychologically challenged citizens

Hi khana26,

I renewed my PR last year and it took more than five months to start my application. Online status says it's all good but I didn't receive it yet. I don't think you will need another 6 or 7 months for your oath invite. I hope your oath invite comes first. Good luck!

I don't have Assessment section at all, there are Activities in the end of the atip, Type: Testing. Status: Passed.

August2014, Mozhgan, congrats. What are the dates of your Oaths ?

Officer was very apologetic for unnecessary delay...............:(
Hah, it's like he/she wasn't the reason for the delay. Did you involve anyone (MP or minister of immigration) or the officer just called you out of blue ?
