no news about PR renewal

What does it mean when I receive no news? No email or regular mail for secondary review but already for over 2 weeks in process?

We received your application for a permanent resident card on January 30, 2015.

We started processing your application on March 23, 2015.

Thx for anyone who has an idea if this could be good or bad?
I have been a PR since 1996 but did for the first time spend 2.5 years outside Canada( Europe) after the death of my Canadian husband.
I have 3 canadian children who are citizen.

I only came back to Canada in January 2015

Just been reading other people's post where they either receive an email for second review right away or receive their card, I got nothing either way but as you said I am only 69 days in of the 71 ;D

I just called, the lady was very nice but could not give me much more information then I already had. PR card still in process, never received a 2nd review email but she said it could take up to 1 year for processing. I asked her what the difference between 2nd review and mine was, she did not know. She said it looks like they are verifying your RO and there is not time delay for that. She send me an email after to say I can request to see my file and what they are doing, so I did. But that takes up to 30days to get a response from.

I honestly do not get why it is taking sooo long to process.
