No MR since March [Federal stage 2017]

I checked the timeline sheets and nobody got any medical request from this March,
Only few people got AOR on October.
Last year, it took them less than two months to send out medical request, how come they can't even do that now?

Does anybody know what is going on with QSW applications?

And I've also heard that the processing time now is 14 months...as if 13 months wasn't long enough.

Yeah but your AOR was somewhere in jan or feb...you applied in 2016...

I think he is talking about people who applied in 2017! Like jan... feb...march 2017... and got AOR march...april 2017

Yes you are right. I don’t think any March AOR have received MR. I’m hoping that we will be hearing from them in Dec and Jan. I was so optimistic for Nov but I don’t see it happening to be honest.

Tell me about it. I’ve just given up. It’s just so upsetting to keep on waiting and waiting.

MR should be least of your concerns. It does not impact processing timelines. In fact it's a boon for outland people since it gives them more time to finish landing formalities. Look at mine , @hxy610 and @sufgan timeline. We all received MR late and still were processed within 13 months. If you are that concerned then take upfront medicals and send results to CIC.

Yes, cant agree more. You can get MR after 10 months in process then DM follows a few weeks later. You can also get MR after 4 months in process the DM follows 9 months later. Which do u prefer? I dont really suport upfront medicals. I think it slows things down instead making you wait longer and increasing your anxiety for nothing. I know of this applicant who anticipated his medicals , after that he got feed back that one of his kids had an issue and they have to retest 3 months later. He goes to his personal doctor and he finds nothing wrong with his kid. He goes back to panel physician and he is still told to come back later to retest.there was absolutely nothing wrong with his kid as per other doctors. This goes back and forth for like 7-8 months before results are transmitted to vo and DM came in like 3 months before medicals expiry date. Whole process took him 16months while others were at 11months. He comfronted the panel physician about delaying them for nothing and they revealed to him it was the vo that asked them to delay with his medical exam.sad but true, dont know why those were the instructions from the vo.Anyways what i have discovered is that upfront medicals does not speed up the process. Your application is will be processed when it is you turn

Thats quite long. You mean youve heard nothing from cic in a year other that AOR? If i were you i would request GCMS notes, or send CSE or email to cpc ottawa with proof of rprf payment if i have paid. What ever you write dont say you want to find out the status of your file. You are still within the processing timeline. The aim here is to trigger an officer to touch your file. And maybe they can take action. Note that there is no processing timeline for MR , but there is a processing time for DM which is 14months currently. Which means MR can come at 13.25 months and DM 0.75 month after that.
