Hello Jamie,

where are you currently residing? Are you in Canada or outside Canada? Which Visa office is processing your app?

No, its not. And I believe you cant even claim it from the insurance provided by your employer.

Jammie,

please apply for GCMS notes ...and one more think that you could do - Apply for Advanced medical!

Actually you can claim at least a part of the medical exam expenses on your employers extended health insurance. Of course it depends on what are you covered for.
For example, my provider is Green Shield. I submitted three receipts to them: general physical exam, lab tests, x-ray exam. The insurance company refunded only the cost of lab test. The x-ray and general exam were not covered under my plan, but there are other plans that cover the x-ray as well. The general physical exam is the only one that I don't think would be covered under any available extended plans.
The lab test were $40 here in Calgary, so I'm glad at least some money is back into my pocket :)

Good to know that we can claim some part......
How much for everything? I hear its about $250
My employer said I can claim anything up to a certain limits......
if its $200-300 I will be good......
