Hey Guys, I received my aor (Canadian experience class) on 7th May 2014 i was told that they will request for a medical exam in 6 months but its been more than 6 months and i haven't heard anything from them so far, im confused should i be scared ? please give me some advices.

^You are confused. Who told you about the 6 months anyway?

As a reference, I applied July 2013 and got my Medical Request in Feb 2014.
My friend applied April 2013 and got the request mid-Dec 2013.

Not sure if the process speeded since we applied.

My friends usually got their medical test around 6 months so i was thinking the same for me as well.

I got my AOR on 26th April 2014 but still waiting for MR

As an unsolicited advice, stop comparing your case with your friends or even from people within the forum. You have different names, DOB, Place of Birth, Background, Experience, etc (you get the point).
How do you suppose I felt when my fellow July 2013 applicants started getting PPRs last March 2014, then the Aug 2013 ones the month after, and so on.
There was a point I stopped going to this forum when my 13 months passed.

I eventually got the PPR last Oct 2014 (15 months in total). Lesson learned: each case is different; you'll just feel pressured and stressed out once you start seeing others moving ahead.
Just "trust the system."

I agree what menic monday said , Order GCMS notes and try to see where your Application reached , Check if your ELIG is passed or not ,if passed go for upfront medicals.

Looks like you are an April 2014 applicant. Share your details in the forum, we will add you to the spreadsheet. Even I have applied on April 10. No mr yet. You don't have to be impatient. You have 13 months of timeline. Good luck.
