No letter of explanation option in my profile

Hello all,


I almost completed uploading all my documents. However, I just noticed that there is no option for letter of explanation (LOE) for me and spouse as well. Is it usual or a technical error?

Because, I got ITA under CEC category (working in Canada) and CIC still asks me to provide proof of fund? I dont have enough fund as POF. what should I to do? decline ITA or give LOE in POF column?

No. I tried many times and there is no such option.

Again, it's a glitch - give it some time and log in again.

I logged in after 24 hrs. Still there is not LOE, however, I have 2 options for letter of employment.

1 - Use a different browser
2 - Try incognito mode
3 - Make sure you're logging in and out properly.
4 - Report technical issue.
5 - Wait more.

Im about to start writing my LOE(s). Is it supposed to be one big single document? Or is it many small separate documents? Or is it like a cover letter for each section (education, work, ielts, character, etc) to be included as the first page of each section's scanned documents?

Either one works, if you choose to write several letters then simply merge them.

Hi,

I am facing same issue, LOE upload option is not there for my spouse, however its present for myself (primary applicant). I have raised request through "report a technical problem" option but nothing has happened so far its been 2 days. Did anyone got any resolution for this problem ?

LOE upload section doesn't exist for spouse. You are supposed to explain for both in the same document.
