No letter of employment

My express entry got rejected this year, after talking to a representative at IRCC i was told that i have to produce 2 years of letter of experience in CEC so i can resubmit the letter and ask for a reconsideration which of course i know is not a guarantee for approval but its worth a shot
but one of the companies i worked for in the past has shut down and the previous members of the management refuses to provide any form of reference letter.
i have submitted pay stubs and T4 for the company but IRCC requires to see the proof of job duties and the work experience
What can i do

I am not sure what is T4 but can’t you reach out any former colleagues at the least to provide recommendation ? Any sort of e-mail or documentation you might be having with a time stamp to prove the nature of your work because
what CIC is asking for is perfectly valid.

Not saying you but imagine someone else who worked as a glorified personal assistant but puts down the profile of a technical person and just provides pay stubs. How is CIC agent supposed to differentiate??

also have this situtation. one of the companies i worked with in the past is now closed. you just need to attach any proof you have that you worked with the company like employment contract, offer letter, payslip, etc. and a proof that the company is now closed.
