No Last Name

Hi,

My Parents don't use a last name. In their passports the last name field is blank. What should I write in the ITA form where relative details are required . It is not taking blank in the Last Name and not letting me submit the app.

Check the barcode area as well.

It usually has something like
(CountryCode)(LastName)<<(FirstName1)<(FirstName2)<(FirstName3), etc.

So anything that comes before the << is the last name equivalent.

it is not letting me leave the first name Field blank .. what to do now. both first name ans last name are mandatory fields.

I had the same thing happen.

I wrote their first names in the family name field, wrote NA in the first name field, and explained this in the LOE. I specifically stated that I tried following their instructions from the FAQ, but the form wouldn't let me proceed. I also attached copies of their passport bio pages.

I didn't have any issues getting my PR.

@legalfalcon In my case, parents' name does not have family name added but in their passports they do have. What should I do? Mention details as per my passport or their passport.

what if i did the same and did'nt provide any LOE.....
as in case sibling don't have last name in any documents

Hi,
My Parents don't use a last name. In their passports, my father passport last name field is blank but in my mothers it is mentioned. and in my passport surname not mentioned of both the parents. What should I write in the ITA form where relative details are required . It is not taking blank in the Last Name and not letting me submit the app. But in my brother's passport my parents last name is mentioned.
