You don't have to be currently working in order to apply for PR.
However, how come 6 + 4 months is 1 year of experience?
Was there any break between the two jobs?
FSW or CEC?
Sorry my bad. I mean 8 + 4 month. yes there is 1 month of gap between both jobs.Am i eligible?

Yes, it is your decision to apply and ignore the advice and CIC's decision to reject or accept your application at the end.
I am not sure if you understand that, you don't qualify for CEC if your work experience is not in Canada.
I came here as international student and have open work permit until 19 April 2019. I worked with two different employer since both were contract position under noc 2282.

You should be eligible for CEC. I am on PGWP too, I worked for employers (NOC A, B). If you have 1 year Canadian exp under NOC 0, A, B you can apply for this. Rest depends on CIC.
