Hey !!

The ones who haven't got ITA despite meeting the CRS cut off, let's connect here and try to help each other with whatever info / knowledge we have!

What NOC code are you?

Are you asking about Ontario PNP? If so, there are tons of people who meet the cut off but haven't received a nomination. It's very common.

Yes, I mean to ask for Ontario PNP as well. May I know if there is any specific preference they have for sending NOIs ?

You shortlist profiles based on the NOC requirement in their province and it is typically based on profile shortlisting.

Okay so is there anyway we can know which NOCs / career fields are in demand ?

Here

The OINP is an economic immigration program designed to help Ontario meet its labour market and economic development priorities. For this round of NOIs, the program will also be targeting candidates in high-demand skilled trades in the construction sector who meet the criteria of the HCP stream. These occupations include:

Carpenters
Electricians (except industrial and power system)
Construction millwrights and industrial mechanics
Welders
Painters and decorators (except interior decorators)
Plumbers
Bricklayers
Roofers and shinglers
Sheet metal workers
Tilesetters
Boilermakers
Plasterers, drywall installers and finishers and lathers
Industrial electricians

Thanks a lot. And what about other than Ontario PNP ? What about NOC codes / career fields in demand for non provincial immigration ?

I don't fall in that occupations list as I am a doctor, NOC 3112, crs 458, I got a nomination interest letter yesterday.
I think based on the fact that they take a specific number each year, they will generally go with occupations they need the most, and also based on highest ranking candidates in the pool meeting their requirements.
So there might be 10000 people in the pool who are eligible but they wont all get an invitation.

Non-provincial immigration (FSW) doesn't have a NOC list. It's based purely on points.

Okay. So, no matter what your NOC code, if you have met the CRS points you WILL receive ITA, right Scylla ?
