Hi All,

Hope everyone is safe from the Pandemic.

I am constantly seeing that NOC 2171 is not getting any invites. Is my observation correct?

Also, applications from outside Canada are getting invites?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks and Regards,
Andy

What program are you not seeing invites? For Express Entry, there has not been an open draw or FSW draw since 2020 so it has nothing to do with NOCs. No one has gotten an ITA.

Hi Naturgrl,

I seem to be confused or may be not using correct terminology.

On May 31 number of invitations issued : 5956. I did not know that the express entry has nothing to do with NOC's. I have CRS score of 420 and was wondering if i will get an express entry invite.

Thanks and Regards,
Andy

That was a CANADIAN Experience draw (CEC) so unless you have a year of Canadian work experience then no. There hasn’t been a open draw since last year.

As said above, this draw was for CEC which requires the applicant to have one year of full time work experience in Canada.

For FSW (which does not require you to have a year of work experience in Canada), scores are never going to drop as low as 420. You either need to increase your score to the 470+ range to have a chance when the draws resume, or look into the PNP programs.
