Guys this is totally a rumour and nothing else....think in a this way, if this has to be happened then why it's not published on CIC website. The media is showing some modified news and making others to read such news on their portals.

Understand one thing, the news which we've been seen on CIC website are AUTHENTIC (be it related to proposed changes or smooth application process).

So don't spread this rumour any more because this doesn't have anything related to coming July FSW openings.

Refer to CIC website only i would suggest for the correct & authentic updates and nothing else !!

This news was published in a major Canadian newspaper. I suspect someone from the government (or connected to the government) leaked this news to the press ahead of the announcement. These types of leaks happen all of the time.

I think there's a good chance the rumour is true.

But you should obviously wait for confirmation from the CIC site.

agree this is just a news artcile - but could be based on some insider information (or maybe not). The conference (mentioned in the article) is starting in half an hour and we'll have our answers by tonight. Lets hope this is not true and just a rumor!

guys just wait for one day. the article says Jason Kenney is going to announce this on thursday in somewhere. Thursday has just started in Canada. so wait for few hours. everything will be cleared.

This is not rumour!

Well, until CIC make an official announcement then this is no more than a rumour. However it is a fairly substantial one when a full article about it is published in a major newspaper.

So let's for now say it's a very strong rumour, but we'll hopefully have confirmation from CIC over the next few days. I heard there was a plan to announce something today (Thursday).
