PIA is the best choice for Pakistanis, they have direct flight to Toronto and from there you can take your flights to your local destinations by Air Canada or west jet. But i heard that immigration people at Toronto airport are very rude so some of my friends are suggesting to take flight to some other airport like Vancouver or Montreal where immigration people will not waste your time and are very nice.

Sorry - this is bad advice. You should book your flight to land in the city where you are going to be studying. Immigration officers are the same everywhere.

It would make absolutely NO sense to land in Vancouver and go through customs there if your eventual destination is Toronto. Getting from Vancouer to Toronto will cost you another $750 in airfare plus hours more in travel time. Again, bad idea. If you're going to be studying in Toronto, then book a flight that lands in Toronto.

Come khi and go to vic via Cathay Pacific
Cathay leaves at 12:20am so , you will have to reach 90 min before departing means about 11PM night
Come KHI via any plane ,
You will have to do this I guess...

Ask Cathay for any possible flight ....

I guess you had booked emirates...

There was 77k flight (cathay) from khi to vancouver for 5th sep. I am considering it but its khi I am in lhr too :-\

From Lahore, no Luck yet. I checked flights to toronto, vancouver and montreal as well. Checked PIA, Emirates, Qatar, Eithad, Cathay (khi), Turkish (khi I guess), and I might be forgetting one more but no flight cheaper than 2lac almost.

If you find one do let me know as well.

i think u guys should have booked in cathay by now, i Have told many times that they wont take any money from you for booking a seat, you would have a seat atleast....

for you guys coming to khi shouldnt be a problem ,,,,
From lhr PIA is going I guess ....But dont know the situation of the seats...

Aug-Sep is the most busiest season ,,,

I would suggest book in cathay right now and look for other too...
if you cant find any other you will have a option of cathay atleast. for the safe side

Becareful when booking as most airlines automatically remove your booking or give it to someone else should the need arise after 72hours unless you pay to actually confirm the ticket.

Seriously guys, EXPEDIA, CHEAPTICKETS, CHEAPOAIR, KAYAK etc.

You don't need to book directly through the airlines. Book though these sites that use multiple airlines and you can easily find flights.

Cathay Pacific reserves seat for 2 motnhs even , and dont even ask for any money .

I booked at 10 july and I can buy my ticket till 17 aug ...

my flight is on 27th ,

Means 10 days before,,

Thats why am saying them that book a seat .. and search for others as well ..

Dude...don't defer your session merely because of flight situation. I am sure you can find some kind of flight connection with availability! For example, fly to a destination that has visa on arrival for your nationality and then taking onward flight to Canada from there? This is just one scenario...there could be many!
I paid $2100 for ONE WAY flight from India to Canada last year because I had to book my flight on the very last day! My other option was to defer admission to next session which was 12 months after!!!! I don't regret my decision at all!
These are just short term losses to save valuable time, trust me! But of course, I can understand that for many, it may just not be financially possible, in which case it's fine.

By the way, I 100% agree with this!
