Dear Folks,

How many days after the PR Card Status goes to Approval, does the PR Card get delivered to Montreal.

Regards,

What is your status showing? When did you get your AOR ? Please share your tkneline
It shows that my PR Card Application was approved on 16th Nov 2017.
So, How many days would it take for it to go from Nova Scotia CPC, to a Montreal Address by Canada Post.
Regards,

If ecas status just ends at approved it means you have to wait some more.. the next update will show complete and the date the card has been mailed to you,...

To get an indication of when they are likely to complete your processing check the processing dat on CIC website... it tells you which applications they are currently processing...

What was the date your application was received according to your AOR??

I applied through agent so I had to create a new log in using GC key and link it to my PR Card application. It shows application received date same as my landing date. Status is approved and last status change date is 12 April. When I called CIC the guy said card was dispatched 12 April.
What was ur timeline between 'approved' and finally when u got card in hand?

I am not too confident about the info the customer care guy provided. May be he just checked online like me. May be after approval it goes for printing. I am going nuts over possibilities and now don't have any option other than PRTD.

Approval does not mean the card has been printed... when it says approval it then joins the production queue... once the card has been printed then the application is considered complete and the card mailed....

If ecas status does not show complete then best assume the card has not been produced....

Hello, but am sorry this is not true. My application just turned to approved and after emailing them it turns out that the card had already been mailed out.

Hello, I'm waiting for my first PR card. I just received this email saying that my application is on production. I would like to understand what does it mean? What are the timelines?

Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

This message is to inform you that we have received your request for the urgent processing of your Permanent Resident Card (PR card).

We can confirm that your card has already been approved and sent for production.

How will I receive my card?

Once produced, the PR card is generally mailed to you directly. It is also possible that you are asked to pick it up in person.

This random selection for in-person pick up is done to allow IRCC to gather information in our continuous effort to improve the processing of PR Card applications.

If your card is selected for pick up, you will be informed of the date, time and location of the pick-up and the type of document you will be asked to bring with you.

Rest assured that we will make all the necessary efforts to deliver your card as quickly as possible.

If you need to leave Canada before you obtain your PR card, and you:

  • Return by private vehicle:
    • you can present documents proving your PR status,
  • Return by commercial vehicle (airplane, bus, train, or boat):
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

Sincerely,

Thanks for your help
