Hi,

My wife has got no birth certificate. Her date of birth is mentioned in the 10th certificate and passport only. her case will be processed by CHC, New Delhi. Does CHC, New Delhi ask for birth certificate? If they how can I obtain that?

many thanks.

hi
i am also in same situation. i dont think they will ask for that but if you want to get one you need to go to "Nagar palika" they will tell you whole procedure and it will take around 1 month i think. (i am not going to do that, i dont think its necessary)
when did you apply for her PR ??
did you hear anything yet from cic?/
best of luck :)

Hi, thanks for the reply. No I haven't applied yet. I will submit her case to Mississauga. And then they will forward it to ND.

Good luck.

Tell your wifes Parents to make and sign an Affidavit(Stamp Paper) confirming her Date of Birth as mentioned on the 10th Certificate....This can be done in a day in front of Court where ppl do it.They will explain the procedure also. Most countries accept this as its signed by parents and there names are already in your wifes passport...

thank you guys for your reply.

I have asked my wife to get an affidavit even though her dad is out of india...im assuming it should be ok..lets see..

Appreciate all the help ....thank u very much :)

Does the prinicipal applicant have to provide a copy of their birth certificate?

Even if it is a spouse sponsoring a spouse with no children?

Yes the Principal Applicant should submit his/her Birth Certificate with the application and not the Sponsor......
