I don't have Birth certificate since at India, We didn't get B.certificate before 30 yrs.

Is that ok?

Birth certificate is compulsory. If u are in India visit SDM Office they will help you.
You will get AOR with those documents but CEC can ask copy of Birth Certificate at the later stage, which may delay the application.Dimma said:School leaving certificate with DOB , Place of birth and parents names is ok . Many applicants including me got AOR with School certificate copy alone.
Fastest and easiest way out is to get an affidavit stating that you do NOT have the birth certificate. Have a notary public sign it and have him/her write your birth date on that. Send the affidavit with your app instead of the birth certificate. CIC usually accepts the affidavit. Lot of my friends have done it this way and faced no issues with their application.shri_boss said:Hello all,

Hi Shri n PB02....PB02 said:Birth Certificate is mandatory for CEC.
You are mistaken...Even my parents who are above 60 have their birth certificates. You need to contact your muncipal corp.
You could try without birth certificate but with school certificate and other proof but it just lead to delay your application as birth certificate is mandatory to CIC. Better apply for birth certificate and submit with all requested document instead of alternatives.shri_boss said:Hello all,

I am not contradicting PB02's suggestion...
I was in the same situation an year ago as I didn't had BC for me n my spouse...but I applied with my HIGH SCHOOL CERTIFICATES as proof of birth, also I attached an affidavit declaring that my Birth Certificate is not available but the DOB mentioned in my certificates and Passport is the only legal DOB I have always used.......I wasn't asked for the birth certificate yet....I already got my MR....
But I would recommend to try to get your birth certificate if possible.....or call CIC helpline if they could suggest an alternative....n u may also consult some good immigration lawyer....
Hi CECAUG1....
I just searched about this and found that those who didn't have the Birth Certificates submitted an Affidavit with other proofs of DOB like matriculation certificates. So I think milidpr should be fine if he submits other proofs. Please see refer to the link from trackkit where the candidate was in similar situation.
