No AOR- But ECAS showing "In Process"

Hi There Seniors!!!

I haven't seen an answer to my question on most of the threads... this is my current issue:

So my ecas is showing in process but no AOR received by email.. I've been checking both my spam and regular inbox.. My cc was charged 27 aug and the ecas is showing in process sep 1.. I'm worried coz I never got an AOR by email yet.. By biggest concern is that I have a bowp application sent by paper and I'm worried coz I don't have an official AOR.. Does the "in process" on ecas mean that the AOR should have already been sent?? If so how do I contact cic to ask them to resend?? Any feedback guys??

Call CIC and quote your UCI number, they will give you your file number (that is sent in the AOR email).

I did call the CIC main hotline and they said they have no access to the information. And that i would have to contact Sydney office directly by email.

I'm really confused coz i don't know if they will reply me or not on time.. My BOWP has been sent in by paper application 2 weeks ago so i'm really stressed out... Because i know they need to see that an AOR was sent when they are processing.

Should i wait till the end of this week and then email Sydney??

No harm in emailing Sydney and asking them about the AOR, since your CC was charged way back. Also email CIC and ask them to check for the email address they have on file. You can also double check on ECAS if your email id is current.

Ecas only lets you see your mailing address and not the email address.. I guess i will just email Sydney to be safe..

What do you think i should say in my email?

Something like:

To whom it may concern,

I applied for my Permanent Residency under the Canadian Experience class on July 7, 2014. I understand that my credit card has been since charged on August 27, 2014. However, i have still not recevied an Acknowledgment of Receipt Email from your office. My details are as follows:

Full Name: xxxxx
Address: xxxxxx
Email Address: xxxx
UCI: xxxxx

Would you be kind enough to review this information to confirm if the email address you have on file is correct? If not, would you be kind enough to please resend me the Acknowledgement of Receipt email to xxx@hotmail.com?

My online status is still Application Received after 7-month waiting. And I am still waiting for my MR. :'(

If you are using gmail.com. You have to select "all mails" - on the lower left side of your gmail.com account.
Click it and it should show you all your mails.
Look at all the emails one by one and you should find it there.

I'm using hotmail.. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing.. I've done everything.. even searched immigration, sydney, canada but no emails show up with an AOR... Its been 1 week since they charged my CC and 3 days since my ecas is active... I'm so stressed... :'(

It is the same with HOTMAIL.COM too .. Try to locate the folder ALL MAILS.
Once yo find it - click it and it should show all mails. Then go through it one by one - I am sure it is just sitting there.

I have not had any communications with CIC for about 6 months since receiving AOR. I always suspect there is something wrong with my gmail as well.

Yes- I've done it this way too... However nothing... I've checked multiple times, i've even sat with a family member and done it incase i missed it.. But nothing... Its now 8 days since my cc was charged and 4 days since my eCAS is showing in progress.. I'm really worried coz i need the AOR issued because my BOWP has been submitted 2 weeks ago...
